I was referred to Sanctuary Builder and I could not be happier with my new home or with the service I received.  Having already purchased a lot in a custom home neighborhood I quickly learned that Sanctuary was extremely flexible and easy to work with.  My wife and I fell in love with their existing “Rembrandt” floor plan from their Masterpiece Collection.  However, with the size of our lot and our lifestyle there were several modifications that we wanted to make and Sanctuary accommodated all of our requests without question.  We increased the overall size, modified rooms, moved walls and customized existing features, we were given the opportunity to make it our own custom home without having to pay the design or architect fees that we were expecting.  This was an added benefit of choosing Sanctuary Builder and one of their existing plans.  We even brought in our own designer to assist with our selections and both parties made that seamless as well.  The communication between our designer, our Superintendent and the trades was constant and made us feel at ease with building a custom home.

It’s true when Sanctuary talks about being your homebuilding partner, we always felt as if they were working with us and on our behalf.  They were sensitive to our budget and they always gave us multiple bids to choose from along with their advice and experience with different trades. We always felt comfortable with discussing our concerns and we were always put at ease. 

My wife and I are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the team at Sanctuary Builder and we have had the pleasure of making a few friends along the way as well.

When selecting a custom homebuilder, we thought it would be beneficial to hire a full service company who could provide us advice and direction with the design and construction of our home.  Our decision to go this route was validated when we met the owners and employees of Sanctuary Builder.  When pairing their construction and design expertise with a skilled draftsman, the knowledge they brought to the table proved to be invaluable. They guided us on value engineering, material selections, traffic flow, value added features and really everything that would make our home something that fits our lifestyle as well as our budget.  Until you have designed your house from the ground up, you really don’t comprehend how important every detail is but when you have people like we did from Sanctuary Builder, who worked with us throughout the process, it makes the project a lot less intimidating.

From the day we signed the design contract to the day we received the keys to our home, the team at Sanctuary Builder has been great.  Their professionalism and commitment to every one of their clients is admirable.  We felt like our home was just as important to them as it was to us. They gave every detail their personal attention and when issues arose like they do in building any home, they corrected the problem. We highly recommend highly Sanctuary Builder to design and build a custom home. Thanks again to the Sanctuary team, both Ann-Marie and I really appreciate the awesome home that they built for us. We would love for you to put it every magazine in Phoenix because it is truly a master piece.

We could not be happier with our recent addition to our home and Sanctuary Renovation and Remodel. We had heard so many horror stories about remodels and additions taking 3 times as long as planned, contractors not showing up, improper construction, etc. In fact, we experienced this ourselves in the worst way when we built our own home. We did not experience any of these problems with Sanctuary Renovation and Remodel. In fact, our addition was completed before we expected. I can honestly say that every time we were told someone would be here doing something they always showed up and the work was completed exactly as we were told. We were shocked at how perfect everything turned out. Our biggest concern was that the addition flowed with our home and did not look like an addition from the inside or out. It is amazing how from both sides it looks like it should be there and could not flow better. Every worker that we encountered was more than pleasant and accommodating to us. Our daily lives were hardly interrupted during the whole construction process. My husband and I cannot say enough about Jim Schibner who was in charge of the construction process from start to finish. He was on site so often making sure things were done correctly and that we were happy. He has been very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We have had many family members and friends walk through who are just amazed at the project and can’t believe how well it has turned out. We will recommend highly Sanctuary Renovation and Remodel to any and everyone that is planning to build or renovate and remodel their homes. We are so glad that we chose Sanctuary Renovation and Remodel!

Thank you to Sanctuary Renovation and Remodel and especially James, our Project Superintendent. James is very through, he can walk on a job sight and see things that I would not even see or notice (much less know to look for) he has been awesome for us and I thank you. You should be very happy to have James on your Team. I wanted to let you know, we found very commendable with James, he scheduled subs, called a half hour after they were due to show up making certain they were “true to their word”. As you and I know there are very few people that have “the followed through” today, promises are made and continually broken. That alone should be a great testimonial for your company and your superintendents.

I did mention this previously and want to bring it up again, everyone on your team that you have sent our way has been nothing but top notch, polite and courteous.

There are a few odds and ends to complete and it looks like the Marohnics will be happy homeowners with a nice patio.
